Said by a co-worker this afternoon:

"So, who's going to rush out and catch the SpongeBob SquarePants movie this weekend? Come on, I don't see any hands!"

I actually tried watching SpongeBob SquarePants. I figured I'd give it ten minutes. After two minutes, all I could think was, "Do I have to sit through the other eight minutes?"

I think your co-worker needs to be put down. The infection has obviously reached her brain.

rollick wrote a review of that movie (she reviews movies and does other writery things for a living) that not only positively guarantees I will never see that movie, it also kind of made me wish I hadn't read the review. My eyes! My brain! Augh!

Actually, it was a he who made the remark. The poor guy has a six-year-old and a 14-month-old and was expecting to get shanghaied into going to see it.
