Health stuff

Due to a series of snafus, I went without health insurance for a month. My "real" health insurance kicked in yesterday, and I "celebrated" by getting allergy shots.

This morning, as I woke up, my dog was waiting for me -- seated excitedly in front of the master bathroom door. As I was changing my tampon and disposing of my sanitary napkin, the dog was watching me with more enrapture than she does when I eat "people food." You'd have sworn I was creating some marvelous doggie treat for her! (Eeeuw.)

Note to self: Keep the master bathroom door closed when the dog is on the floor.
