I have Windows XP running on my Mac right now. I'm actually doing work in it.

Yup.

karisu_sama and her husband are my friends.

They are very nice people. They're not flakes. (Understatement). Unlike Technology Search (http://ns1.tsearch.com/) or Montage Solutions (http://www.montagesolutions.com/) (same company -- I don't know why they need two names), they actually pay me when I do work for them.

They write compilers that run on Windows.

I'm working on documentation for them that needs to run native on Windows.

Because Microsoft is evil, and XP is worse than most of their products.

And I can't think of a thing that you would need XP for, to do the same job using the Mac OS...

Well, if she IS working for us, I believe it would be because the work is related to our software product that is designed for Windows machines.

(Don't hunt ME down, I am a happy Mac user myself... :p *hugs my G4* )

Creating Windows Help. No can do in MacOS without running Virtual PC.

Why not get a PC for the PC-stuff! Imagine how your dear, sweet little Mac suffers! I would NEVER treat my dearest like that! *grin*

Virtual PC is much cheaper than another system. My Mac is perfectly happy to run it.
