Relieved, sure. On the other hand, I bet she's also a little disappointed. She's not likely to get a role this juicy again for a long time -- possibly ever again.
Tina Fey has been saying she didn't want to have to keep coming back to do Sarah Palin on SNL because she wants to focus on "30 Rock," her new show. Instead, she's hoping the Palin impersonation will boost 30 Rock's ratings.
You think? I rarely watch SNL, in large part because each time I do, I run screaming from their totally lame attempts to impersonate public figures. I think the very best skits they have done were the ones where the public figure played him/herself.
