I could use help in the form of extra vocalists, especially those of you who can read music and hold a part. (capplor, I'm especially hoping for help, of corpse, and yes, that's a hint!)
I still have the tape y'all made for me when I was in the hospital. Of all the things people gave me, that one was the best, most morbid gift you could give a cancer patient. Thank you!
You can probably get Fred, but I've committed to being local backup musician for the Hugo entertainment. Tech runthrough is 4 O'Clock. We'll flip for who gets to keep the kids. I'll see if there's any wiggle room.
If the schedule has already been printed, don't muck with it. If, however, it's not set in stone, see what y'all can do. Just know that I might not arrive till sometime Thursday at this point.
The WANTING TO part is there, but the BEING ABLE TO part isn't. I won't be in Denver, and I don't think my voice is loud enough to be able to be heard there if I sing here. :(
Still hoping for your amazingly-fast-and-complete recovery.
Thanks, but I haven't yet gotten desperate enough to start whirring foods, but am instead opting for stuff that is naturally in liquid form, such as soups, yogurt drinks, and fruit juices. Do you know if there is a Safeway (or equivalent) near the con hotel?
I know where they are near my place, and could probably make sense of what you can google (as a native guide). Safeways themselves exist. Another well regarded budget grocery is King Soopers (I've been told their organic section is better than Safeway. And there's Whole Foods. We're commuting, of course and Fred is keeping his old cell through the weekend. Then we're cutting it out, in favor of the new spiffy phone with the local number.
Organic Is Good. I'm game to check out King Soopers on your recommendation.
Again, I'm hoping I'll be able to eat "regular food" by the time I'm there. Given that I can now open my mouth wide enough to insert my thumb without scraping my teeth (albeit barely), I'm expecting to be able to eat anything I can break down into small enough pieces to swallow whole.
Granted, I want to hit Casa Bonita so badly I am almost willing to suck refried beans through a straw, but I don't expect it to come to that.
