SHRDLU, Dave Alway

Dave, known on LJ as tnatj, wasn't one of the liveliest bodies I knew, but he definitely had the liveliest mind.

What do I mean by that?

The man had an indefatigueable sense of humor. Even his last post was humorous.

I am still stunned. Dave was one of those folks I'd expected to be around in perpetuity. Alas, the perpetuity will have to live on in his writings and in our minds.

May he always find all the etaoins and shrdlus he wants in eternity.

Sad to hear. I never met him ... and he sounded like a very good "word smith".
