I knew from an interview about 20 years ago that Roth liked to play old-time music in his spare time, but I never knew that he actually sang it.

Aztec Camera

=v= The band Aztec Camera did a fantastic cover of "Jump" in the 1980s. It was mostly-acoustic, but not bluegrass. This version, on the other hand, is especially interesting due to the vocalist. :^)
