I also find it disturbing that the U.S. press doesn't report this sort of thing. The SF Chronicle and LA Times web sites don't mention this.

There wasn't a local angle to it, unfortunately.

If there had been one I could easily have caused it to make its way into the local bay area press.

Funny, weren't we being told before that abuse of prisoners is OK because the US never mistakenly takes innocent prisoners in Iraq?
