Thought for tomorrow

Warren just came over to me a few minutes ago.

"Tomorrow is kind of getting to me," he said. "It's Father's Day, and I know you're thinking what I'm thinking."

"Yeah," I replied. "It's the day our respective brothers get honored for getting their girlfriends pregnant out of wedlock."

"Yeah," he replied. "I'd like to see something more appropriate instead, like 'Vasectomy Day.'"

It has occurred to me that the fact that I've always been careful to not accidentally get anyone pregnant, I've qualified for a darwin award just as surely as if I'd strapped a JATO unit to a 1962 Impala.
