And in Ecuador and parts of Peru, folks keep guinea pigs for food -- eating at home, and selling -- the way folks in parts of Asia and the US keep a flock of chickens or folks in Australia keep pigeons or folks in France have rabbits. They're just food there.

New England or Manhattan style clam chowder?

Both, I'd hope. I prefer New England style, but I understand that there are folks who don't share my taste. (There are folks who prefer their tea with milk, or to drink coffee, and we can get along, most of the time, too :-)

What kind of a New Yawker are you, anyway? ;-)

I strongly prefer Manhattan.

Geez, I'd better be careful. I've only got about three things left to eat before I die.

11. Moreton Bay Bugs
32. Guinea pig (and I'd love to)
36. Barramundi
40. Australian meat pie
42. Durian fruit
50. Cornish pasty

Any list of food which places chocolate out of the top three is lame.

Hmm...37 out of 50, not bad so far. Oddly enough, I think I have had haggis, probably at an Intersection party.

I can't believe durian made the list...and of course having read the list you know what I'm going to be humming the rest of the night!!

Hmm, a pretty bad list if you're allergic to seafood and shellfish...*grin*
