Why poltr1 rocks

poltr1 is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to old synthesizers. He's been into them for a long time, and I always learn from him whenever I'm around him (and it's been waaaay too long since I've seen him in person -- the last time I saw him he was still single, and now he's married with a daughter!).

Why, thank you!

A big sad point for me is that I don't get enough time or opportunities to bring a synth along and play it at filk cons and filksings, as the genre is dominated by solo guitarists.

You should've been at last year's GAFilk, which had a heavy keyboard emphasis, including a keyboard jam. I would have participated, but I had a dog on leash in one hand, making it hard for me to play.

Yeah, I missed it. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go this coming year.....and bring the Mini and woodwinds with me.
