Icky girlie stuff again

This afternoon I lined up a Monday morning appointment with my gynecologist. I am hoping I might get a renewal of my Vicodin prescription.

Meanwhile, The Dam has Burst. Luckily, I was prepared and thus didn't spring a leak, although I came awful close.

If this is anything like the last period-after-a-missed-period, it's going to be a mess, with the worst of it hitting during my AM shift tomorrow. The last time I had to leave early because, despite multiple changes of stuff, I did spring a leak.

Hopefully I'll be back to normal after this.

Unfortunately, that sounds ominously like the onset of peri-menopause. In a last-ditch effort to keep the egg factory in full production, the body ramps up hormones which can cause all sorts of things to happen.

Been there, done that... not fun. At times I felt like I was solely responsible for keeping the Kotex company solvent.

That's what my gynecologist thinks it is.

I'm not sure whether it's that or fscked up adrenal glands from the stress I went through with my last job. We'll see....

At least I scored a batch of eight boxes of OB Ultra applicator tampons this week at the Grocery Outlet.
