OwowowowowowowowOWowowowOW!
Nov. 16th, 2004 10:20 pmI'm cramping.
I haven't had a period in two months. I'm overdue, assuming I was to stay on a "normal" 28-day schedule. Unless sperm fly, I'm not pregnant.
I am in agony. The cramps are like menstrual cramps, but there's no flow. Given that I don't have work till Friday, I wish I would flow already. Heck, I was hoping for flow today, but nooooo!
I'm wondering when the point comes where I'm supposed to call my gynecologist and say "Hey, this is not going right." I'm also wondering if doubling up on those chocolate hormone troches might induce a period (it'd be way cheaper than a visit to the doctor!).

Sounds bad to me ...
Date: 2004-11-17 12:23 pm (UTC)... is there anyone medical you know who you could phone? I'm sure there are several suitable people in fandom, but I don't know anyone who specialises in that area.
Here in the UK the NHS provides a phone advise service which takes your symptoms and then has a nurse (or similar) phone you back to go through the symptoms, ask you additional questions then suggest either therapy you can do yourself, a visit to your GP or a trip to the hospital (depending on severity, two weeks ago they were all for me getting in an ambulance and heading into ER/A&E due to the severe allergy attack I was experiencing). Does your medical plan come with any kind of medical advice number? Is there any kind of free clinic or similar that might answer questions?
If it were me (and thankfully, being male, that seems very unlikely) I'd want to get a medical professional to check me over just to make sure it wasn't something that needed to be fixed NOW.
