Yeesh. High tech is now paying so crappily I will actually collect something for this past week.

Note that my last employer of record is "Metro Networks." Hee.

Note to self: Warn Dave (my boss there) so he doesn't flip out when EDD contacts him.

I don't get it - how does the system work?

The system cuts your payment by 75% of what you earn up to a certain amount. I forget whether it was something like $549 or $569 and change, but it was up there, and I won't be earning that much this week.

Therefore, I'll be getting an unemployment check.
