Matzoh brie: sweet or savory?

Funny you should ask. This has been a bone of contention in my marriage for 20 years now. His family has always done savory. My family has always done sweet. We have been loyal to our ancestors...

...until this year. As usual, I made half sweet, half savory. And then I tasted it. I liked the savory better.

Never heard of sweet. Eggs, milk, matzoh, maybe salt if you don't have high BP, fried in butter. Where's the sweet?

Savory, but with sugar sprinkled over (liberally, in some young folks' cases). Much easier to add sweet than to counter it.

Like most of the others here (so far), I've never heard of sweet matza brei. I love it savory. I'm willing to try it sweet though, if someone wants to make it for me. :)

Either, depending on my mood. odiesdee prefers the savory (it was the first one I made after he moved up here), but he doesn;t understand why we don't tend to eat them outside of Passover. So, my addition to this question is: Only for Pesach, or at other times, too?
