I'm asking this because it came up in dinner conversation the other day.

When you use a wallet, where do you put your coins:
  1. In the change compartment of your wallet
  2. In your pocket
  3. In a separate change pouch or purse
  4. Somewhere else
  5. Change? Who carries change?

C. Several years ago, I picked up a nice leather change purse at an American Tourister/Buxton outlet store. Squeeze it and it opens, like a 10-petaled flower. It's served me well, unless it's overflowing with change. I hate loose change rattling around in my pocket.

I used to use plastic ones, like the ones availabile at trade shows, but they'd wear out after about a year. Some of them had the slogan, "Avoid handtraps". What the @#$% is a handtrap, anyway? Is it when my fingers get caught by the "jaws" of the coin purse? Is it when I'm caught with my hand in my pocket?

Speaking of wallets.....any news on your old one?
