I'm asking this because it came up in dinner conversation the other day.

When you use a wallet, where do you put your coins:
  1. In the change compartment of your wallet
  2. In your pocket
  3. In a separate change pouch or purse
  4. Somewhere else
  5. Change? Who carries change?

I don't use a wallet per se. My various cards -- ID, (in)frequent buyer cards, plastic, etc. -- live in an outer pocket of my PDA case. Generally, I take only the one or two I'll needs in with me -- my debit card, ID, and Frequent Swimmer card if I'm grabbing lunch at Fins, for instance. Cash, both bills and change, lives in a coin purse in my pocket. If I have no pockets, I'll carry some kind of purse, but they tend to annoy me and get in my way, so I'm always on the lookout for dressy clothes with pockets, since dressy occasions are when it's likely an issue.
