Trying to keep my spirits up
Nov. 20th, 2003 01:31 pmBeing underemployed sucks doody. It's really demoralizing. Next week I get a really bad 2nd on my house that'll hold me for a while, but I really need a high tech job, preferably a permanent one.
I have been doing more cooking, but I haven't had a fully working stove in over a year, making it difficult to do serious baking. I don't want to spend a lot on a stove, but I'm at the point where I feel I need one.
The monitor on the TV system in the living room died. I cannot afford a new monitor right now. We've been making do with a 13" monitor that used to be used for video games. It sucks.
Warren's episodes have screwed up my sleep schedule. Today he woke me from a deep sleep at 3:30am to check his heart rate. I didn't get to sleep till something like 6:30-7am. I was back up at 10:45am. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise I don't have to be at a job right now, but I'd rather be faking minty-freshness than lying here, looking for work.
