Why didn't you run for governor? 1. As a member of the press who is trying to refinance her house, I'd lose the only steady source of income I've got, and therefore I'd lose my house. (Yes, my radio job is what's being used as my "source of income" for purposes of my emergency refinance!) 2. I'd have to go to lots of boring meetings. 3. I'd have to live in Sacramento. It's too hot and too dull for my comfort level.
