Yes, it was a good one. For Adam, too. (Cake and ice cream and WHIPPED CREAM and a present. Adam thinks he should get presents no matter whose birthday it is, and we indulge him.)

In my family we used to all get gifts no matter whose birthday it was. Sometimes the stuff I got on my brother's birthday was better than the stuff I got on my own!
