...literally.

Yesterday my face was all flushed when I woke up.

Today it's flushed and cracking.

I have oily skin. My skin is so oily I've been known to use 98% isopropyl alcohol as an astringent and still have greasy skin.

I'm wondering whether this could be from a teensy walk around the block Saturday done in three spurts of less than 10 minutes each.

My face doesn't hurt. I haven't changed shampoos or soaps.

Do I need to see a doctor, or is this just a case of extreme sunburn?

Cracking?

As in horror movie, face falling off cracks? Then, get thee to a doctor.

Otherwise, it could be sunburn, I have oily skin as well and when I get sun burn the peel stage does look like I have cracked skin.

It could also be another form of alergic reaction to something. [livejournal.com profile] chriso always gets a flush and some ichies from eating asian or greasy food, but that's it. You could be just having a extrem flush, which your body is reacting to like a sun burn.

If it hurts or causes other issues, then get thee to a Doctor.

I took my temperature; it was 99.8F.

I made an appointment with my doctor for 11:40 tomorrow morning.

I also discovered Warren had opened a couple of the windows in the house (a major no-no when you've got someone like me, who's allergic to just about everything outdoors). I've closed them and put the HEPA filter on (he not only had an open window in one room but a fan on high that was blowing the effing pollens in.
