Mikes: is there something in the way of a "mike condom" -- or pop screen, maybe -- that would help with this?
Documentation and song: what immediately comes to my mind has "RTFM" in the chorus and a series of verses describing stupid parent tricks (you can mine the newspaper for these). I don't have the skill to write it, though, so if this inspires you in any way, go for it and please let me see the results. :-)
