Since I often listen to an NPR station based in Cincinnati, I hear about the dreaded Article 12 regularly (not to mention the racial tension exacerbated by the city police). It's a heinous piece of legislation; the only city in the country to have such a rule on the books. I believe the station mentioned P&G's employee write-in plan last month.
It doesn't surprise me that Wildmon and his ilk are stirring the pot. He's one of the most well-known and reviled right-wing rabble-rousers out there. And Cincinnati is one of the most conservative cities in the country. You can't even buy a copy of Playboy anywhere in Hamilton County.
