Friday Five: Hair Meme

1. Is your hair naturally curly, wavy, or straight? Long or short? Straight with a litle bit of a wave.

2. How has your hair changed over your lifetime? It's gotten thinner and darker over the years.

3. How do your normally wear your hair? Bangs curled so they go up instead of straight out, hair parted where it wants to part, twin matching barettes.

4. If you could change your hair this minute, what would it look like? I wouldn't have cowlicks (ugh). I've always fantasized about being able to have a totally symmetrical face, including my hair.

5. Ever had a hair disaster? What happened? Only when Mom gave me home permanents or cut my hair. I'd ask for a loose curl, and she'd try for Shirley Temple despite my protests. Her "Shirley Temple" came out looking more like "Phyllis Diller."

When she cut my hair it was also disastrous. She cut off way too much hair to the point where it went bone straight and made me look like a dyke in junior high school (when you're gag-me-with-a-tire-iron straight and your mother keeps saddling you with "boy cuts," it sucks).
