Quick update

figmoI was sick in bed Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday I wound up playing "backup driver" for Warren and his mother as we took her to the dentist in Berkeley. Thursday I had an appointment in Berkeley, and Friday we went to SF to find out why the neurosurgeon still hadn't sent out his report.
Friday afternoon I agreed to fill in at the station yesterday for the morning anchor because she had the flu and I figured I was on the tail end of whatever's going around. By last night I was feeling way worse. My throat felt like it was going to errupt. Now my right sinus feels like it's going to explode, my shoulder is noticing the weather (OW!), and I have to be at the station in about an hour.
Nothing new on the job front. I'm still in the running for the one job for which I interviewed the day before I flew out for Torcon, but they haven't found anyone else acceptable to interview, so I'm still looking.
Damn. I want to feel well again. I want a day job. I want sleep.
