I must love that man
Jun. 9th, 2003 12:25 amWarren has to fast for a blood test. The neurologist is trying to rule out diabetes, and Warren wants to take the blood test at the SF facility because it's the only Kaiser facility he's been to that hasn't screwed up his labwork. His mother has a dental appointment in Berkeley. They're taking my car.
I wouldn't mind, but unfortunately I have to be in the car. Warren doesn't trust himself to drive on an empty stomach, so he's having me drive him and his mother. After we take her to the dentist we take him to the lab, where I "get" to sit in the car and keep his mother company while he gets blood drawn.
After that we eat, which I can probably deal with (I hope they don't pick a burger joint -- eeeuw!), followed by lots and lots of driving around. I would take Dramamine with me, but I'm taking enough other antihistamines for other things as it is, and I don't want to make it unsafe to take Benadryl if I need it.
Sigh. I would much rather be at home working or looking for work.
