Biorhythms

I find I always slump between 9am and 10am.

It's happening now.

Does this happen to anyone else out there?

Between 18:30 and 20:30. Right when I'm supposed to be getting ready for, or driving to, rehearsal. :-( (Both my weekly rehearsals are 20:00-22:00, and 30-50 minutes away.)

My slumpage is around 10-11am, and then again around 3-4 pm. I've found that if I eat something, I'll perk up a little bit-- well, enough to keep me from falling asleep entirely-- but if I eat too much, I will go to sleep.

I do that - conk right out, nod off, even dream a little. Midmorning and midafternoon if 'm understimulated. I can work - or better yet play - through it if need be.

In my case, it seems to be food-related (I was diagnosed diabetic the week after Consonance last) though sometimes it's just a slow day...

I was diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia back in early 1988. My blood sugar tests seem to correlate this, as my blood sugar rarely gets to 120 but often goes below 80.
