What I've been up to and other stuff

First of all, happy belated birthday to browngirl and cadhla. Hope you had happy ones. The 2nd was Lady's birthday; she's now a "perpetual puppy."

I've been looking for work and doing whatever I can to bring money into my household. This includes doing the radio-thing, filling out forms (including unemployment), and lining up a short-term contract while I look for something more long-term.

I've also been fighting The Sinus Infection That Wouldn't Die.

I owe special thanks to firecat for helping me line up health insurance and to jhitchin and karisu_sama for other good stuff.
