A Tennessee Man arrested in East Palo Alto has pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless driving while evading a police officer and resisting arrest. When a CHP officer asked him why he led officers on the chase, the man replied, "I had important things to do."
Lawyers for the handyman accused of killing three Yosemite tourists are asking the judge for a change of venue. Cary Stayner's attorneys say the jury pool may have been biased by the selection process. Neither side mentioned the confession a reporter then-based in Santa Clara County got out of Stayner shortly after the murder.

Fwiw, I went after the Lupin story. The manager of the place wasn't very good at selling the clothing optional side of things, and I wanted to be careful how to ask questions to make sure he realized I was "ok" and not someone who was weirded out so as not to weird him out (I should've told him I've been to Kiva).

We don't have any inside dirt, but shortly after you called the manger quit/was fired. So it's not surprising he was wishy washy about promoting the resort.

In the future, feel free to drop my name. It won't get you anything extra, but maybe saying you have a fiend who is a member will get your foot in the door better.
