William Hung was just on the Today show.

My new dog has finally spoken up; she doesn't like his singing.

This, from the creature who watches silently in dismay when I practice.

This reminds me of something Jo Stafford said once. She said she gave up doing the "Darlene Edwards" gag records (where she sang painfully off key and just bad in general) because, "some people these days are being a lot of money to do naturally what I had to really work at for less."

I saw him last night on Leno...

He's loosing his charm.

1) He's learned to perform, so despite the bad voice, he is entertaining.

2) He is starting to carry a tune.

Which means he's simply bad, not Plan-9 "so bad, he's good."
