Oh yeah...I have a life, too!

I haven't been keeping up with LJ terribly well because I've been busy. Last week I worked something like 60 hours. This week will be similar; I'll be happy to keep it down to 50.

When I'm not working, I'm either running errands, recording, or preparing in other ways for my CD (practicing and creating MIDI files). The CD is coming along slowly but surely. So far I've been averaging about four hours per song, or nearly a song a session (modulo background tracks to be done by other folks later).

I'm also still trying to recover from vertigo...so if I seem preoccupied, I am.

FWIW, about four hours per song to get the tracks laid down, sounds about right, based on my experience recording the 80-plus songs that EC has done.

Sounds like good things are happening, in the midst of a very busy life. Best of luck continuing to keep up with it all!

You got a CD coming out? Cool! What's he current estimated release date? And who do we place our pre-orders with?

I'm telling everyone "when the CD's done, it's done." I'm going at it slowly but surely, as I only have 1-2 nights/week to work on it.
