Mixed news

They now know why I hurt so much.

It turns out I have a bone spur in my left shoulder. There may be a tear in there as well.

My surgery is scheduled for sometime Friday.

Needless to say, I'll need "stunt guitarists" for Torcon.

Meanwhile, I finally have voice recognition software (iListen) working on this computer.

Yeowch! Does the voice recognition software enable you to post to things verbally, or are you having to type with that injury? (If the latter you may wish to not answer this. :->)

As for Torcon...

Don't forget that Bell Caps are required to help those with mobility issues. You still should tip them though.

Ring ahead to the airline, so to be sure to have one assigned/available when you depart/arrive.

Good Thoughts coming your way for the surgery to quick and easy to recover from.

Hope your surgery goes well!

"This is the second day now that I do not know the result of the juegos, he thought. But I must have confidence and I must be worthy of the great DiMaggio who does all things perfectly even with the pain of the bone spur in his heel.

What is a bone spur? he asked himself. Un espuela de hueso. We do not have them. Can it be as painful as the spur of a fighting cock in one's heel?"

I did a quick web search, and found that Joe Dimaggio batted .315 and won the MVP award after surgery to remove his bone spur. I'm sure you'll do just as well!

All good luck!

Ouch! Sorry to hear!

Cool that you've got iListen running. I'm just installing that myself.
