I didn't make this up!

This Creation Science Fair would be much funnier if it weren't real.

That is truly frightening

That "Women Were Made for Homemaking" project was just scary.

You are so right... especially this little gem of blatantly erroneous logic:

"social sciences show that the wages for women workers are lower than for normal workers, meaning that they are unable to work as well and thus earn equal pay"

What in God's name are they teaching these children?

I *think* it's a parody, like the Landover Baptist Church -- but it's very well "hidden."

[identity profile] figmo.livejournal.com 2003-07-16 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think it is because of the references to other such "fairs."

I hope you're right, though.

I've been told it's a hoax. The site is most likely a highly elaborate satire, to the point where they pick on Landover Baptist Church as if it's legitimate. I can't find anything in Snopes about it, but other sites I've looked at declare the whole thing a fraud. I mean, the site claims to have ditched their original ISP because they didn't take a strong enough stand on protesting the tendency in some Christian churches to make how many nails Jesus was attached to the cross by a matter of doctrine.

I hope it is a hoax... it will restore some small fraction of my faith in humanity. :D

i vote "hoax".
