At Heathrow Airport today, an individual, later discovered to be a public school teacher, was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a compass, a protractor, and a graphic calculator.

Authorities believe he is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement.

He is being charged with carrying weapons of math instruction.

This one's travelling well - I came across it on the Fidonet echo, English Tutor, which exists to let people who are learning English converse with those who already speak it. Sorta random chat with corrections. :-> Whoever posted it was in Zone 2 which means they were in Europe someplace.
