Sorry I've been quiet
I've been busy, I've been sick, and I'm way behind in LJ reading.
I came down with a nasty gastrointestinal virus on 12/13, my last day off of the year. I spent the next week or so fighting it. The day that went away I came down with a cold that quickly mutated into a sinus infection.
When Ancestry.com announced it had finished indexing the 1930 census, I started poking around at my family background. In three days, between that site and Genealogy.com, I managed to learn a lot about my family. On the side I know the least about I now have the names of my great-great grandparents(!!!). I also got a lot of insight into the way my relatives lived back then; I'll perhaps go into it in a future post.
