Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought there was supposed to be a separation of church and state in the US. Wasn't religious persecution the reason many people came over in the 1700's? I'm so confused. Then I heard Bush say Marriage is our most sacred institution and a bunch of other stuff, I think marriage is important, but I don't see a lot of evidence in Canada or America that it is a sacred institution. But that's another soap box I should avoid. At least it wasn't Clinton saying it, that would have been really funny.
